OH!  I forgot I did have one other question, perhaps a bit more personal and quite a bit more embarrassing.

Ladies... well men too I suppose... that thick pad of fat in the groin region, above one's genitals, as you loose does that ever go away, or is that something that will have to be addressed with skin surgery after weight loss?

It shrinks to some extent, but I had to have a mons lift to get rid of the "roll".

*sigh* I was afraid of that.  Having my arms done, or my legs, or my gut doesn't phase me.... down there on the other hand... ugh.

It actually wasnt a big deal. My surgeon just pulled it up when he did the lower body lift. But the three scars from the drains in my mons area....lol. That's another story.

I heard the nurses at the hospital appreciate you waiting until you get home before resuming, but otherwise you should be good to go as soon as you feel you are good to go...

It was 5 days for me. But when you feel ready just take it slow. Something is better then nothing . Lol!

My husband and I both had the surgery in 2011 and have lost around 200 pounds between us. All I can say is "Oo la la. Viva la difference." Hang in there. It's worth it!
