Roasted garbanzo beans are good because you make them to your own taste. Plain yogurt 0% flavored with anything is a good option. I like a little mashed avocado with fat free Greek yogurt, lime juice, cumin, chili powder for dipping fresh veggies. Sometimes I spread on Kashi whole grain snack crackers.
I have string cheese every day. It's easy to keep in my purse if I'm out. I peel it into little strings, which also forces me to eat slower. For 7g of protein, it's my favorite snack. If I'm home, I sometimes put a couple of turkey pepperonis in the microwave until they're crispy. It's protein, but has the salt and crunch of a chip!
