When I need a crunch I do cucumber "crackers" and Greek yogurt dips http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2011/07/cucum ber-crackers.html or roasted chickpeas or a few nuts (watch the amounts or roasted edamame http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-day-in-my-pouch_25.html

Roasted garbanzo beans are good because you make them to your own taste. Plain yogurt 0% flavored with anything is a good option. I like a little mashed avocado with fat free Greek yogurt, lime juice, cumin, chili powder for dipping fresh veggies. Sometimes I spread on Kashi whole grain snack crackers.

I have string cheese every day.  It's easy to keep in my purse if I'm out.  I peel it into little strings, which also forces me to eat slower.  For 7g of protein, it's my favorite snack.  If I'm home, I sometimes put a couple of turkey pepperonis in the microwave until they're crispy.  It's protein, but has the salt and crunch of a chip!
