Post Operative Neuropathy??? HELP!

I had an EGD this morning...I guess the anesthesia I had is considered General Anesthesia. Well, for the last 2.5 hours my hands are numb and tingly. Position doesn't seem to make a difference...they are more tingly when I don't move them, and it seems to be going up my arm to my elbow. Am I just freaking out???

You could have pinched a nerve based on your position for the EGD.  If the tingling doesn't go away, call the doctor.  In the meantime, keep moving since that seems to help. 

I went though that last June - No big deal!! Get your big girl panties on for the real surgery!
