hey a few questions ...11/18/13 is surgery date

First question is (kinda weird) is it common to have stomach issues during the full liquid diet?? Could it be because I'm not eating any solid food?? 2nd. Would it be ok to do some Christmas shopping the three weeks post surgery???

Can't answer about the pre-op diet as  I didn't have to do one.  If you mean post-op, I didn't have problems myself but I know some people do!

Recovery time depends on the type of surgery you are having and can in any case vary very much from person to person. I was out about, shopping, attending a country fair and walking round it for about three hours at five days post-op. In fact I went out to a pub fir a drink the day after my op! No alcohol, of course, and I only stayed an hour! Others with the same wls as me (the band) are house bound and in pain for two weeks! 

So no simple answer!
