Surgery covered through Manitoba Health

Is anyone here on the list for bariatric surgery that has been covered by Manitoba Health ......I was last June my gp made the referral to Winnipeg and I was accepted as my gp got back a form saying so...but I have not heard anything from Winnipeg.....Anyone know anything about this process...
