best thing i ever did
I havent been on this site for sometime now. I had my bypass surgery in feb of 2012, im a little over 2 years post op.... i have 20 more pounds to lose.... i look better, but i feel great, ive gone from a size 32-34 down to a 12-14.... im 6 feet tall so thats small for me.... i remember getting a size 12 uniform when i was in the 2nd grade. today i an walk 5 or more miles with out feeling like im gonna die, i have went on 15 mile bike rides and kept up.... i just went to the carnival this past weekend and got on a few rides, and fit.... planning a trip to magic mountain in the spring. when i walk past windows and mirrors i cant help but glance at myself, even my shadow looks nice... most of all i feel great, no more diabeties, no more high blood pressure, dont have to sleep with that annoying CPAP machine, i can tie my shoes, and clip my toe nails... even paint them myself!!!! i can get in and out of the back seat of 2 door cars.... all these little things that ive been missing out on most of my life that regular size people take for granted.... sitting in a booth at a restaurant... omg i only needed 1 seat on the airplane!!! but the most bestes thing about this whole journey is that hopefully unless lightning strikes me down, i may live another 10 --20---30 years who knows... and i get to see my grand daughter grow up.... I know that tomorrow is not promised, but my chances of seeing it has greatly improved.... its been a rough 2 years, had to make alot of changes and i have fought with myself about what goes in my mouth... but when i think about what i gift this surgery has been and what a blessing to be on this journey, i have to be grateful and do my part to stay healthy and live as long as possible. otherwise it would have all been done in vain..... Anyways everyone have a wonderful day.... im gonna try in figure out how to post my before n after pics here
You may have written this on an ipad or iphone. For some reason, if you do, paragraphing often disappears leaving, as it has here, a long, indigestible chunk of text!
if you go to edit and put the paragraphs back in, they usually stay! Worth doing as many people don't bother to read otherwise!

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who struggles from time to time about what to put in my mouth! This was a very encouraging post. If you can do it, so can I! Thanks again.

YAY FOR YOU!
I can really relate to remembering the size I wore at one time vs. now. I am the lowest weight I've been since 5th grade!
And yes--love seeing my shadow now!
GOOD FOR YOU...from one Amazon to another, YOU GO GIRL!
