PCP Jacksonville, Fl.

Hi All- so I'm in month three of my six month PCP supervised weight loss program to be eligible for WLS.  However,  I am in PA.  My husband's job may be moved to Jacksonville,  Fl. We knew there was a chance we would move, but never thought it would be that far away. Now, I'm just trying to prepare for what if and getting my ducks in a row to pick up where I left off if that does happen.  Any recommendations for a PCP who agrees with WLS, specifically for a lightweight?  Thanks!

Congratulations on taking control of your health!  Try posting this on your surgery type forum and ask members who live in your area who their PCP is.  Maybe that will help.

I live in Jacksonville. I have a great PCP that I have been seeing for about 5 years. I go to my first appointment for my supervised weight loss program on 04/28/2014. I will say that a co-worker of mine sees the same PCP and he recommended her WLS and signed off on every visit. I haven't yet seen him about mine yet, so I can't give you any difinitive answers. My co-worker did get insurance approval and had her surgery already in December. Bapist Primary Care at Regency. Dr Michael Janssen. 904-724-5576.
