How many times do you eat a day?

You are doing fine. You are using your brain to come up with and stick to a plan that is working.
I eat 6 times a day. I am over a year out and at goal, and in order to get everything in, eating healthy foods not crap, I have to eat that often.
If it is planned it is NOT grazing
Anne
As often as I want. Yes, I graze but protein first.

I could not survive if I only ate 3 times a day. 5 years out and I eat 7-8 times a day.

I eat 6-7 times a day. Have since I was early post-op. I will be 7 years out in August and I am maintaining my weight loss. It keeps my blood sugar (and metabolism, BTW) stable throughout the day.
Look at how many vets who are 5+ years out and are maintaining their weight loss eating 6 or more times a day have replied to this post already. That should easily refute what the Nut told you.
Pas long as you don't eat excess calories because you are eating more frequently, eating a greater number of smaller meals will NOT annotate your weight loss. The calories are the same whether you eat something all at one meal or break it up into 2 meals eaten 3 hours apart.
