Looking for friends in Tucson

Hi my name is Jennifer I'm 39. I got the sleeve June 10th. Just looking for friends in Tucson.  I think it would be a good support system.  

Jenn, there are a few WLS support groups here in Tucson.

There is one sponsored by Drs Monash and Welle at TMC on the first Saturday of each month.

They are free ....you could contact their office for more info.

There is the TUSWLS group that I think has an East side meeting and West side meeting each once a month.  You can google TUSWLS for contact info.

Dr. Chaisson and Burpee have a support group meeting, but I think you have to be their patient ... And have to pay for the meetings.

We have a Lapband group that meets on the second Saturday morning, you would be welcome, but it is pretty much all bandsters, so not sure you will get much sleeve-specific info.

My name is Rod and I am on the fast track (I hope) for the gastric sleeve.

I have 1 psych appointment left and my endoscopy is tomorrow.

How is your journey going?  I have a million questions but one in particular.

How long after the endoscopy did you have your sleeve?

Seem like this process has taken forever.

How many pounds down are you now?

I live on the north side, am 53 and totally committed to my journey.

I didn't have to have that test. My weight loss is going great I have lost 40 pounds and I'm 2.5 months out.
