NSV~!

Non-ScaleVictory! (NSV) Got together with my daughter and her family in Olympia today for an early Christmas celebration. We met at the YMCA where my grandson had a swimming lesson. I was walking across the parking lot (I am in month 9 post-surgery and haven't seen Kate since month 3). She looked at me ,looked away. looked again and started grinning. Mom! I didn't recognize you with that cool hat and you're TINY! (note: I am not "tiny" but 107 pounds down in a year...I AM smaller!)

That's awesome. I had a similar experience at church today. No where near as cool as yours, but it was still a good feeling. I've lost about 34 lbs since the last time I went to church. I've been really sick for a couple of months. Everyone kept coming up to me to tell me how great I looked and that I looked so much healthier.  My skin tone is better etc... This is even before surgery.
