I am so excited to have been approved and now received my official surgery date of May 2nd, 2016!

You all know how hard you work to get here and I am feeling accomplished and a bit anxious.

Any rec's on what you did in the weeks leading up to surgery? I am walking and trying to get into the best condition I can be in for the surgery itself.

Would love any positive advice and wisdom you can lend.

This forum is a wonderful resource and I so appreciate your input.

Thanks!

Yay for you.  One place i went to during my planning stages and still to this day is the world according to eggface.  she is on Facebook also.  she is talks about what to put in your pantry before surgery.

One thing that i think really eloped me was exercise before the surgery.  having strong legs will help you get up and down for the first few weeks.  chair squats would be a great start.

see you on the losers bench soon.

Congratulations. I remember all this well. I hit my year anniversary yesterday. Time will go fast once you have the surgery. It is the time it took to get to surgery that seemed forever for me. Just follow instructions from your doctor. I really have not had any issues. My weight loss has not been real fast, but guess what!! I did it. I am 5 lbs below my lowest weigh****cher goal weight that I had hit previously that my family doctor had set for me. I will be happy if I can get another 10 down. I know I can do it now!!

Best of luck to you!! and before you know it you will be on the losers bench!!
