Open Heart Surgery

So I never smoked, almost never touched alchohol, did not drink coffee, stayed on my diet, did great at all my medical checkups and watched the stress, salt and sugars.

I made sure I exercised and usually went to sleep by ten o'clock. So now I am recovering from open heart surgery because my arteries were blocked and my heart was not getting enough oxygen.

I was born with extremely small heart arteries that clogged up like if I had been living on bacon cheeseburgers and chocolate milkshakes. The good part is that everything else is healthy and I am getting better??

In about six weeks I should be able to do most things again. I am glad they found and the blockages and fixed them.

Wow, it's lucky they found it before badness, but so scary.

Hope you feel better soon.

It sure can be a shock when you have lived a healthy life for as long as you and then find out you have a serious issue that we would normally associate with poor food choices and lifestyle.

Can you imagine how many years earlier this might have occurred if you did not have wls?  Or the state of your general health.

I am also glad they found the blockages before you had an incident.  I hope you are home now and recovering.

All the best WD  - sincerely

I think the lack of bacon cheesburgers and not enough booze cause it.  Really...

Glad you are OK...
