I bought Biotin 5,000 mcg, supposed to take one daily.  Is this too much?  I can't seem to find our the recommended dose.  Thanks.

If you start growing a beard, it's too much

Ive never taken biotin because I didn't really need to and the excess hair side effects were not worth it for me (I'm a very unhairy person)

I would suggest taking it per the instructions on the bottle and adapt as you see the effects.

as Kim said - biotin may help you to grow hair - everywhere - not necessary on your head...and fast growing hair may be nice - but is it strong and healthy?

we need so many things beyond biotin to grow back our hair.. proteins, fats, collagen (like in jello) and other vitamins and minerals...
