Introducing myself, telling my story and reaching out to connect with others
I love what you say about goals. One of the best things I learned from the Personal Trainer class I took for college was the whole "SMART" goal setting concept. I used to have these horrible goals that were vague and broad and completely unrealistic. Now my goals are really focused and feasible. It makes such a difference for me.

Hello again![]()
Thanks to EVERYONE for their responses to my original post. I appreciate the welcoming and the advice and the opinions.
I'm pushing through, seeing weight loss (SLOW weight loss, but I'm being patient) and gaining my footing in a healthy lifestyle.
I'll be around here often, reading and posting and pondering all sorts of things regarding WLS and my health.
Please add me as a friend if you'd like. I'm a chatter-bug (not that you can tell by my LONG post;LOL
).
Peace and healthiness,
Marie.
Losing regain can be really slow... I know mine was and 90-95% of the time I was doing all the right things.
Slow but steady... Specially the last 10 lbs... The body got smart...
