Clothing Sizes

I lost a total of 152lbs. I started out at a size 24 on bottom and size 26 on top. I now wear a size 8 jeans, 10 dress pants/dresses/tops. I went from a 3xl to a large and sometimes medium on top.

I lost my weight over a period of 18 months and through that process even skipped sizes which was quite shocking to me.

Congratulations on your weight loss so far and enjoy shopping for clothes!  I used to hate it, now I cannot get enough of it.

I started out a busting tight 28...basically wouldn't buy it if it was bigger than that...

Now am a size small and size 6 in jeans. Because of my height sometimes I need to size up to get extra length as their aren't too many tall clothes out there.

One of the things I've noticed since losing weight... there are huge differences between two sizes when you are in the large sizes... the difference between a 6 and an 8 is minimal and depends so much on manufacturer...

I had to lose a good 60lbs before I changed my first real size...

I've lost 45 pounds so far. It took 30 pounds to fit nicely in to size 22-24 cloths I was already wearing, I am wearing size 18 or 20 now, the size 20's are getting too loose. I am also down from an 8.5 wide shoe to an 8 regular width. I wish I knew my feet would shrink, I bought a pair of $110 Keens right before surgery!

Before surgery I purged my closet and packed what I kept by size in labeled boxes. I am looking g forward to getting into the next box.

You'll want to pull two boxes out at a time.  That is what I've done because I'm a 16 pant now but some pants I'm a 14 and dresses I'm a 12 and jackets I'm a 12 now.  I'm into a medium shirt which I had packed in the 12 boxes.  I am trying things on every 3-4 weeks now, because you never know.

Traveller, my low weight for the past 8 years was 200lbs, so 14 is the smallest size  I have. My goal weight is 175 so  I hope to be smaller and go shopping...though b asked on what my thighs look like I should probably spend that money on a thigh lift!

I am having a hard time with bras.  I'm in a 42C but my boobs are too small for plus size, but to big for regular. I tried on every 42C in Macy's today. The band's seem to fit just fine. Sports bras age great around the house but I have to dress up for work and  uniboob is not the look I am going for.

Victoria Secret Sport, the closed front Incredible or Knockout sports bras will make you not hate sports bras and uniboob is LONG LONG GONE. Comfortable, supportive, shape.

Ive got 4 of them as it is right now, lol.
