I agree , snacks are not needed. Portion control is soooo important too. Good luck

Use the egg yolks, unless you have a medical reason not to, they hold all the flavor and will help you feel full.

Snacks should be meat or dairy or vegetables - no fruit!!!

Protein, fat and vegetables - the healthy way to lose and maintain. Real food, no substitutes or frankenfoods. Everything should come from your kitchen and not have started off in some laboratory somewhere

I ised 14 eggs for eight portions I left in one and a half eggs yolks. I did it since they hold the calories, but I did want some flavor and color.

Use the entire egg, not just the egg white.

Good snacks are things like yogurt, HB eggs, jerky, any sort of meat, anything you'd eat for a normal meal.

One of the " new" things I dare do since surgery is eat egg yolks - I usually do spend the extra money for organic free range eggs too. The ( small amount) of fat keeps me full and I've read that egg yolks are great for the immune system ( they actually used to treat AIDS in Israel very successfully with organic egg yolks before the " ****tail " supposedly)

if im making egg salad though I'll cook five regular eggs too and add the extra egg whites throwing away those yolks.

Ditto with omelets - so I guess I still eat low fat just not no fat anymore.

Yesterday I ate some avocado slices in my salad and some hummus too

Today breakfast was 2 slices olive bread with about 3 ounces melted 75percent fat free sharp cheddar cheese and one sesame seed corner pocket pita with 3 tablespoons hummus. Also three cups chai tea latte made with skim milk powder - a lot of it .

I plan to make a fresh veggie / artisanal lettuce salad for lunch with fat free dressing and have it with a chicken kebab .

later ate an egg roll about half of a roasted sweet potato an ear of roasted corn.

>> Egg yolks were used to treat AIDS in Israel

I've seen no studies on this. Got a source?

Breakfast was a fried egg, slice of ham and one piece of wholegrain (Imlive in Europe--super whole, not like in the states) toast with butter. Didn't eat lunch; but full disclosure did eat sachet of coconut cookies that were sugar-free. Dinner was stir fry; leftover steak, green beans, ****ake mushrooms, carrot, and celery over cauliflower rice. Feel bad about the cookies, but caved.

For snacks I do beef or turkey jerky, parmesan crisps, cottage cheese, edamame or yogurt.
