Due to the number of off-topic related posts lately, we will move them to the appropriate forum and notify the poster.

This is being done to keep the topics on point and relatable to the forum they are posted in as well as to enable all members and visitors to find relevant information.

Is there a way to remove posters who consistently provide misinformation and dangerous advice?

In the 6 or 7 years I've been on OH, member services has shown no inclination to do so.

The best you can do is refute the bad information (which is rather like talking to a wall), or block the offending poster so they can't read or reply to anything you post.

Unless a poster violates TOS we do not moderate a post. If there is a violation, we will remove the post and notify the OP. If the poster continues to violate the TOS it is presented to the Founder and COO for consideration of a ban.

If you feel a post is in violation of TOS, please report it using the button on the thread and it will be put up for review.
