Hi everyone,
I just had bariatric surgery 6 months ago and am currently in the maintenance phase. I have found that despite changing my diet and exercise routine, I still have trouble controlling my eating habits and staying motivated to exercise.
I would like to ask you:
Any tips for maintaining healthy eating habits long-term?
What are some ways to control cravings or deal with food cravings?
What are some good workout tips for maintaining weight without feeling overwhelmed?
I would love to hear from you guys if you have any personal experiences or resources, or tools that have helped you. I would appreciate any practical, concrete advice from the community!

That's really encouraging to hear. If this pill works as well as they say, it could be a game-changer for sleep apnea patients.

I've always believed exercise is important for overall health, but this study really highlights how much diet drives weight loss. Cutting back on processed foods made the biggest difference for me personally, far more than hours at the gym.

What methods do you plan to use to achieve this goal: diet, gym, intermittent fasting, or a combination? I'm curious because different strategies work for different people, and finding the right one is key to maintaining it long term!

Hi Amelia,
While some post-op discomfort can be normal, a new lump, especially with weight loss, shouldn't be ignored. Please consult your surgeon or a medical professional immediately to rule out complications like hernias or internal issues, it's always better to be safe and get checked. Slope Game

This is fascinating and a bit concerning. I wonder if the lowered libido some people report is more due to the medication itself or the rapid weight loss and metabolic changes it causes? Could psychological factors like body image or shifting hormones also play a role?

Congrats on reaching this stage! The mental health check is such an important part of the journey. Do you know what kinds of things they'll ask or focus on during the session?

Now that summer 2024 has passed, could you share an update on whether you've achieved your goal of losing those 5 lbs and getting your BMI below 30? incredibox

I'm in! Let's do this together and keep each other motivated. Here's to a fitter, healthier holiday season!
