I wasn't feeling to well two weeks ago. My stomach was hurting everytime I eat or drink. I went to my Dr. office and they sent me to get a upper GI. the results was I have a lazy esophagus. lol
The NUT put me back on mushies for a week and work my way back up. While I was back on soft foods I practice on chewing and sipping slowly like reprogramming myself or should I say rehabbing myself. Its been awhole lot better since then. I'm getting pretty much all my protein in and liquids now. Our stomach and throat are so sensitive its going to take some time getting use too.
I know this wasn't of any help but the best of luck to you and keep us on the up and up with you.
If your not feeling better then you might need to head to the ER bu.
I sent you a friend request I hope you accept. You're doing so well with your weight loss!

My name is Summer and I am an Old School BAFmember. lol I had my lap RNY in March of 2005 and though I have had periods of weight gain over the last 7 years, I am back on track for the most part and living a healthy lifestyle.
I came to check in to see if the forum was still going strong because I have a friend who recently had the Gastric Sleeve and I recommended that she check out this site as I remember what a TREMEMDOUS help and support this particular forum was for me when I was a new post-op.

I won't stay away too long, I promise!
Best,
