Hello Kelly,
I logged on for the first time in 10 years, yesterday. Soon, I will be having a revison of the GB. Not proud to admit it - but, I need the surgery one more time to ensure that I remain healthy. Prior and currently I have no co-morbidilities (hign blood pressure, diabetes, achy bones, etc...)so, I'm pretty healthy and want it to stay that way as long as I can.
Welcome back!
Hello LeAnna,
Welcome to OH. I am 10 years post-op GB and am currently in the process of a revison (GB). Ysterday was my first time back on in over 10 years. What I come to find out is that it's very important to remain connected the entire time pre/post because we are all battling the same thing.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Hi LeAnna. I'm new here too. I'm 33 and live all the way on the other side of the country in Central Florida. :-) I am still pre-op too. I will be self-paying for my surgery. I did all of the usual pre-op tests about 2 years ago when I had insurance that paid was going to pay for the surgery.
My surgery date depends on when I can take time from work and school. So probably early August, before school starts, or December right around Christmas break. Good luck and keep in touch!

Hello...
I had my 6 year surgiversary back in October 2014. I lost a total of 165 but over the past year I've gained 40 lbs due to several "excuses" so today is my first day getting back on track & getting rid of these unwanted lbs. Glad to be back!
I am 7 years out and haven't been on here for years. I need some support and answer to questions to see how everyone else is doing after a long period of time.

I am almost 7 years out. just in the last 2 years i have had to go #2: 3 to 4 times in a day everyday but only when I am at work. At home only 2 times a day. Anyone having this issue and if so should I be worried about it. I haven't been complaint with my supplement: calicum, vitamins, iron, protein anything or b-12. Have anyone for a resolve for the God awful constant gas.

Thanks everyone, I'm now leaning more towards the sleeve. I'm so confused b/c of my build and even more importantly, my comorbidities. I've been trying on my own for the past few months w/o success. A1C is still high and I feel that my primary care Dr. is getting tired of repeating the same old thing. "LOSE WEIGHT, JOIN WEIGH****CHERS". I'm sort of tired of hearing it too, but I will go ahead and contact my weight loss surgeon's office and start the ball rolling again. Thanks
The names LeAnna, 30 years old and live in Portland Oregon. Just hoping to connect with others both post and pre op. I started my journey 18 months ago and met with my Kaiser surgeon on June 2 2015. I am scheduled in September to meet one last time and set my surgery date. Can't wait to get to know some of you and share my story, as well as hear others.
theres a shot to help? Wow girlie you been thru a lot.I am going to get some help because I really want to live a sober life and not be dependant on alchohol to make me feel better. Its' been so heavy on my mind to stop I just have to be ready to quit.I said I was going to cut back a bit or quit all together.
