I seem to be "stuck" at 140. It is my goal weight, but I like being a few pounds below it. I just need to get my butt back in gear to lose a few for my mental well-being. Right now I am just tired mentally and physically. The beginning of the new school year always knocks me on my ass. I will feel better by Christmas break

A few days ago was my 8 year surgiversary. It is still surreal that I used to be 200 pounds heavier. I think it is so much harder for us heavyweights to keep the weight off but I plan to keep fighting like hell to do so. I hope all of you do the same. Life is so much better now

So I realized last minute (for me) that I am going to NYC a week earlier than planned so I won't be hitting that mini goal of 162 by then lol! But I am going this Thursday, I'm super excited to go and looking forward to having a better grasp of what I can/cannot eat this year. I went a year ago when I was about 6 months out and I did completely but I wasn't comfortable with things - I second guessed everything and felt nervous about what I was eating constantly. Now I feel much more confident with what I can eat and I still travel with pre-measured baggies of beef jerky and mini protein bars just in case I can't find absolutely anything to eat but I almost never have to use them.

High weight: 377

Last week: 165

This week: 164

Next goal: 159 by 10/13 when I go to Universal

Dream Goal: 149 (High end of 'Normal' BMI)

Hi all.  Bad week for me to start this because I had a race yesterday and my weight always skyrockets after a race, but yay for accountability.  I know it's not real weight and it'll be gone in a few days, so I'm not worried.  :)

High weight: 320
Last week: 174.8
This week: 176.7
Current goal: 169 - One Hundred Fifty Lost/75% EWL

My weight -was- at 173.2 on Friday, so I'm getting closer!  And my scale keeps asking me if I'm my partner, so that's a good sign.  I think I need to get to 164 for that to stop, since he's super stable at 170.

This morning I told him that I'd gained weight due to the race and that I was 276.  My brain hasn't caught up, eh?

I had my body fat tested by Dexascan that was really how I knew I was ready for plastic surgery even though looking at my skin look like I still needed to lose like 40 pounds.  While I did have dense bones, I don't know about heavier bones. But the woman who did the dexascan  told me I had higher than average muscle mass. Which makes sense because I weighed over 300 pounds for over 20 years.  When I did have plastic surgery my lower body lift he took off 4 1/2 pounds total- my arms was 1 pound -my legs were 1 pound.  Doesn't sound like much but the volume was incredible.
