Daily Prayers & Thankful For's 26th December 2007

Good am all, Prayers going out for everyone that we are all up & doing our best to see the positives in every situation no matter how troubling. Prayers for those who are struggling with weight issues & going through getting back to basics. Prayers for those going through the approval process & those newly and much further out post op. What a journey! What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for a nice CHRISTmas yesterday. I am thankful for the gifts we received. I am thankful for the time with family & friends. Good Morning Kat, I am praying for my friend, Bob. He was moved from ICU on Christmas Eve. They are still having trouble with blood thinners and stuff. I am also praying for my sons as they travel today. One is driving back to Pittsburgh, the other is driving to New York City. Finally, I would appreciate prayer as I still have the drain from my surgery last week, and it is annoying. My gratitude is for my wonderful family, and the time we had together yesterday. I am also grateful for friends coming by to visit. They are missionaries, and are home for a few months. They had not seen my kids in years, and had never met my granddaughter. Their kids are adorable. Finally, I am grateful for God's ever lasting grace, and love. He shows me in so many little ways, and I am having fun finding His little ways He does it. Have a super day. *I'm thankful for God and His Perfect Son who are everything to me. *I'm thankful that my husband is as at peace as you can be with the fact that his mother will pass on soon(endstage emphysema). I am praying that his brother and father get there soon because she is in and out of ICU on a weekly basis at times and never out for more than a month and is so tired of fighting. *I'm thankful for my family who loves me. *This is the first year (2008) that we will start with my Husband being the spiritual leader of my home and that is so awesome. *My church family because they really are a family-just a really big one!! *That my sister and BIL both returned from the middle east (Air Force for 6 months at the same time) safely. *That I will have the other half of my DS soon and surgery will be over-well except plastics-sigh-LOL and so much more!! Please keep my dh in your prayers today as he is traveling back to AL from AR. The girls and I will be staying for another week or so and then head out ourselves. It is so great to be home and visit with family. This time last year we had just found out momma had cancer and honestly did not know if she would make it to this year and she has, I thank God for that! She is still going through a lot and truly appreciates everyone's prayers! Love, Shel
