Matthew 20:15
"Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things?" So what is wrong with this statement? If you said we don't have things of our own, everything we have is a blessing from God you are right! We start out all excited by God's blessing then we start noticing that some others, even Christians have more or better than we do. Then we start wanting what they have. What we have to remember is to be content because God is good all the time and all the time God is good! He always supplies our needs maybe not our wants or our wishes but He always covers our needs. So don't worry about what others have just be thankful for what you have been given.
I am as guilty of this as anyyone, you know an extra few hundred bucks a month would be great. Where in all honesty we are just fine, we have all our needs and many of our wants met so I need to keep my nose in my own backyard and not worry about others that have more!
