5 job interviews in 2 days!!

Wow! All I can say is, "Glory to God in the highest!" My husband has been sending in his resume everywhere for the last few months. We thought for certain he would have a new job by the beginning of December, but there has been nothing..zip..zero..nada! No response from countless resumes. I put in a prayer request here a few days ago for desperate need of prayers from all you prayer warriors. I felt like God spoke to me on Sunday and said, "You're delivered!" 2 words, but they gave me such joy. Well, my husband has had 4 calls for job interviews this week already, and I was even called for an interview on Monday for a part-time teaching job that I would absolutely love. It looks like my husband will be able to choose from his choice of job offers. Please pray that God will give us wisdom and discernment to choose the right path and also for favor with God and man. Please also pray for God to make a WAY for me to have gastric bypass surgery. Thank you all for your care and prayers! Love, Darlene

Luvitsunnyv, I am abundantly blessed! You know what, God is good in the good times and in the rough times. He is a mighty God who is ABLE. He is not distant, he is near. I thank him that this has not been an easy time, because I can absolutely say that I can do nothing without God, but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Darlene

Thanks Deborah, I'll be praying for your family too. Remember, when fear and doubt and depressing thoughts come your way, just give them over to God. He is the one in control. Our seasons of trial only come to refine our character. How much more peace could be mine if I would just not worry about the things that I have no control over anyhow!
