Prayer Request

Friends, I have a prayer request: I am in the middle of a job search and am seeking God's direction in finding the job he wants me to have. I know it's God's will that I have currently been without a job, but I am growing nervous about finding the right one. My husband has been the stay at home parent for our 8 yr old daughter since she was 3 months, so I have a very strong sense of family responsibility as I'm seeking a new position. If you would pray that I have peace about the search process and that God will lead me to the proper job I would appreciate it. Thank you so much for your support. God bless you, Wanda

Wanda, Seems "jobs and careers" are the big prayer requests lately. My hubby is job hunting for a pilot position with an airline...he retires this year from the Air Force. I will definitely pray for you, I believe we reap what we sow, so I will definitely sow in prayers for your job. Just the act of giving it to God will open a lot of doors for you! God Bless, Deborah

We pray that you place her where she will be blessed and where she will be a blessing. We ask for your favor in the application and interview process. Give her guidance in her job search so that she will not be wasting her time on fruitless dead ends. My life recently is a living testimony that He will lead you to the right job. The journey has been tough, but I believe God will receive more glory when things do not go as planned, do not come easy. Now, it is undeniable that God is working in our family's lives. My husband is not a christian, but I gave it all up to God, palms up, a week ago. No more trying to control things, just complete surrender. After 6 months of job searching with no interviews, he had 4 job interviews last week and is now in the position of choosing which one he would prefer. I know God will lead him to the place that He wants him. There is so much peace knowing that I don't have to do anything to try to manipulate the outcome. I became so preoccupied with trying to pray so specific, that I forgot that my God is a Sovereign God. He knows before we ask. His ways are so far above our ways. I am so happy to call him Father. I know God will lead you down the right path. I pray that he will give you peace, strength, and courage for the journey. Love, Darlene
