OK I only asked for a little snow not days of it! I don't know how often I'll be here for a few days until our snow stops. We have satelite computer access so when it snows and covers our dish we lose computer access. So I'm alive and well just MIA. God bless! Karen

This trip has had its  challenges, but has been a blessing none the less.  We are in North Carolina, and should be home  this evening.  Please  continue  to pray.  The devil wants  it to be stressful, and I am doing my best to stay upbeat and cheerful.

God has blessed me  with a terrific son, and I am grateful.

Is there a limit on prayer requests?  lol

Let's see.. most pressing... my mother's health. Rhonda. She had a heart attack in November and though she's at home and healing, she is in constant pain due to complications. She still has to walk with a walker due to several falls. Her hope is waning.

Our van needs to sell. It's an old cargo van and we need it to sell so I can get a car for myself and my kids. I home school and without a car, it's so limiting. We are too far from anything to walk or ride the bus. And for the last three months, I'm caring for my mother on a daily basis, so I need to be able to get to her.

My marriage. There is so much going on right now. The surgery, my mom, my husband is in a new job with much lower pay, I found out I need back surgery, our finances are flailing. We aren't getting along most of the time. And he's my best friend. I need him. I need us to be ok. We've been married 10 years and he is my love.

My kids. With so much of my attention going to my mom, the kids aren't getting as much of me as they are used to. Darik (14) and Alex (10) are so supportive and so willing to work on their school projects alone, helping around the house, etc. I just don't want them to suffer from the lack of me.

My spiritual life. It's wayyy to long to get into, but we were in a church that over the years turned into a cult. We left that church almost two years ago and never went back. Though, for the most part, we no longer believe in organized religion, I would like to find a church we could at least visit occasionally.

I appreciate any and all prayers. Even just reading this has been a relief. I'm sorry if I'm asking for too much.

One of the most awesome aspects of being a Christian is that we always have hope. Long after others have given up we still can hope because we have God in our lives. No matter how grim life may look, God is always there to rescue His children. In fact it is usually when we have finally given up using our own means and have given it up to God that the rescue comes. God wants us to turn all our problems over to Him so that we can praise and adore Him for being there for us. So remember when life is getting you down turn it around and hand it to your loving Savior to rescue you! God bless! Karen

We bring Trish and her family to the throne room of Grace and ask for your hand to be with them as they travel. I ask that you woul provide jobs and homes and every other need for her kids. I ask that all the tests would come back negative and that you would HEAL her daughter~! In Jesus name...amen!~
