I have to thank God for the miracle he has performed!! Also for allowing me to have Gastric bypass because I know losing all the weight had a hand in it too. I had also had endometriosis and surgery for this 3 times. The last surgery I had, the doctor was very unsure of me ever having a child!! So this is a miracle for me!!

Congratulations! I hope to have more children once I slim down. But wait... I'm reading your signature, did you lose the baby? I will pray for you. I'm so sorry.

Topic: Christian Support Friends Thread

I started this thread in hopes that other Christian WLS members would join and and we can pray, support and comfort each other!

I'm a 33 y/o Buffalo, NYer (used to live in Sweden from 1997-2009), married, SAHM of a 5 y/o boy. I am waiting to get my WLS done. My 1st appt is on 7/30, with my surgeon at Synergy bariatrics. Right now I am doing a 2 shakes and a sensible dinner type of low carb diet to lose weight prior to that appt and prior to my surgery (whenever that will happen).

Thanks so much for your help and understanding. I know that if I get my bedroom clean, I will feel so much better overall, and more motivated to get moving more. Today I see my surgeon for my four year check-up. I am early in getting it, but that is okay. I am going away in August, so we decided to make it today.

I wish my therapist understood about physical pain. If he did, he does not show it.

Prayers up, hon! I know you work so hard at fighting your bipolar and alcoholism, don't give up! Just the aching makes it so hard to get things done. I try to keep a daily notebook of what I need to do such as appointments and I put at least one thing like clean bathroom down each day or every other day. That way I don't forget or feel overwhelmed by all the things I need to do. Of course it doesn't always work some days I hurt too much so I move it to another day. It kinda helps keep me focused. I wish you the very best, I know you can do it!

Topic: Prayer Request

I have been struggling with my mental health for two and a half years. It all started when I relapsed on alcohol. My bipolar disorder and alcoholism have ebbed and flowed, wreaking havoc on me since then. In January, I ended up in a psychiatric hospital, and then a rehab. I have slowly tried to climb back since then. Praise the Lord, I have been sober since then. My bipolar symptoms have been more resistant.

So, my psychiatrist is changing one of my meds, and I am trying to take steps to help myself as well. Problem, I am so depressed, I am not motivated to do a lot during the day...add to that body aches. My apartment is a mess, and I really need to get to work on some sewing projects for my granddaughter.

I would really appreciate your prayers for me at this time.
