Thank you. The phone meeting went well. I must wait four to five months for the decision. I will be extremely busy this summer, so that will not be a problem. The problem is that I will have to go on sick leave or sabbatical to ensure income in September, till I get a decision.
God is at work. My back is bothering me again. I had a procedure done that was supposed to stop the pain for at least six months, but that was less than a month ago. I see the pain specialist on Thursday. Maybe this is His way of ensuring I get the disability benefits from Social Security. I just hope it comes without surgery that requires scalpels and hospitals.

Today, May 18, I have an appointment with Social Security for disability benefits. I would appreciate prayer for the outcome.

Hi hon, I'm still here and check in everyday usually. Good to see you back! I sure know how health issues can bring you down, I've got fibromyalgia,COPD, arthritis in my spine, my feet are deformed and painful to walk on and those are just the things that come to mind right off hand.
It just wears ya down but that's when I know I need to turn to the Lord and get reconnected with my church friends. I also knit and crochet which helps keep me busy and keeps my mind off the pain. I know you struggle daily with that and other issues and you are on my prayer list everyday! Sometimes God forces us into alone time with Him so he can teach us even more. He's always there for us all we have to do is remember to look to Him and ask for His help. If you ever want to PM me I'm more than happy to chat and help if I can. Take good care of yourself and remember to love yourself like our lord loves us because you are very much worth it! God bless!

Hello Friends,
What has happened to our fellowship here? I have been lurking, because I had so many crazy health issues keeping me crazy and busy, I did not have time to be at the computer like I usually was.
My spiritual life needs a jump start. I was so close to the Lord when I went to the hospital, and rehab. I read my scriptures everyday, as if my life depended on it. Lately, and I have needed the prayer, I have been slacking off.
My mental health is at a low point. My physical health just plain sucks. I need a boost of something to get me back to that sweet fellowship I had when I was getting the mental health care I needed.
I hope to see some of the familiar faces back on here soon. I miss our fellowship as well.

Hi there Kim. I just found this christian forum about 10 minutes ago, so I quess we are both new. It is very nice to know God is with us even thru our WLS.

I'm 3 weeks out from Lab Band Surgery & now have a blood clot in my leg. I need God's healing hand in my life.
