Thanks for the encouragement.  I am already on Cymbalta, as my psychiatrist switched me to in in the fall when we first suspected fibro.  I can't take the Savella till it is approved by the FDA for depression, as it is the same type of chemical thing as the Cymbalta, but the rheumotologist thinks it works better on fibro pain than Cymbalta.

I found a fitness center I want to join to do swimming and water exercise.  I felt my best in the summer when I was swimming almost daily.  When I broke my foot and toe, I did water walking.

I thought about it and realized I could join the gym for about $31 a month, or wait till the doctor sends me to physical therapy and pay them $15 a session, at least twice a week.  It's a no brainer for me.

Happy New Year.

Hugs,
Trish

Oh Trish I'm soooo happy for you!! It should be a huge improvement in your peace of mind and how great that the kids helped with the move. I'm very sorry to hear about the back problem but the shots should be helpful. The fibro is probably another story tho as I have it too. The only thing that brings me any relief is narcotic meds and I know you can't take those but they do have some new meds that help alot. I take cymbalta too besides the narcotics. There is also lyrica and a newer med savella so there are some options. Just knowing what it is you are dealing with is helpful. Anyway if I can answer any questions about the fibro for you, feel free to ask away. Praying this will be an awesome year for you, it's certainly due to you. God bless!

I have been away for a while, and I have a great reason, for once.  I moved.  God put an awesome little, one floor apartment, and my kids helped me move on Saturday.  I had a super Christmas with all of my kids, and then these awesome kids put all of my belongings on a truck, and I just dance the happy dance of praise.  The price is much lower than my old place, and I take my dog for super walks in the neighborhood.

My diagnoses for the pain are herniated discs and fibromyalgia.  The shot in my back has helped diminish the pain to bearable.  I still have trouble sleeping, but I am a far cry better than before.

I hope to post some Christmas pictures in a few days, after I find the wires to my computer, camera, and other assorted stuff.  I am in the process of unpacking.

God is soooooooooooo good.

Hugs,
Trish

Merry Christmas, Everyone.
We've had sleet in Kansas today, and now it's snowing, so we will have a White Christmas. I love that! There's just something spiritual about snow, to me. It reminds me of how knowing Jesus washes me white as snow.
I would like to share a song with you. It is as if the singer/songwriter stole my Christmas list! ;) I hope you watch and enjoy it.

God answers prayer.

My daughter and her family drove from Michigan to the Philadelphia, PA, suburbs during the night last night.  They arrived safely, for which we are grateful, because a winter storm is scheduled to hit this weekend.  They are staying at her father's.

I saw the pain specialist and it appears I have herniated discs, and need shots, which begin next week.  I am also in the process of moving, and God timed my sick leave with the move so I could do as much packing as possible.

Please keep my Mom, Peg Reilly, in your prayers.  She is fighting a respiratory infection, and lives two hours away.  She has not met my new grandson, born in August.  I am praying for God's healing so she can travel here and be healthy.  The doc is testing her for H1N1.

Good Afternoon Randall,
I just addressed my card, and will shoot it out today.  I am praying that her family see God work mightily in this situation.

Hugs,
Trish
