I am definitely praying for Baby Alayah. I understand your concerns, and am praying for the tests to help the doctors and that the Lord give them wisdom.
Hugs from another grandmother.

Our challenge today is to send some cheer to someone. There is a little girl I know from Troy, AL. She is in Children's Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She is in a medical coma but opened her eyes yesterday for a little while. They are believing for a Christmas Miracle. Her name is EB Johnson. How about joining with me in sending little Erin a card? Here is the last update I got:
"Subject: A Little Idea that can go a LONG way!
This note came from Angie Adams, EB's Twilight Program Director. I think its just a splendid idea:
As we prepare for this Christmas season, let us take a moment out of our busy schedules of gift buying, decorating, baking and partying to reflect on the true meaning of the season. It is a time to share our love with our family and friends. It is a time of giving from our heart.
The Johnson family will be spending Christmas in Birmingham this year. They will be away from their home in Troy - but they are where they should be…with family. As their precious EB continues to fight daily, they will remain right by her side.
EB has at least 4,720 friends on this Facebook site. You are either a family friend, relative, or you know someone that is close to this family. Such a wonderful support group for the Johnson family, you are from several different states and from all walks of life. Your thoughts and prayers have touched this family’s heart and will continue to encourage and bless them as they continue this heart wrenching journey. How truly blessed they are to have you all together on this one site.
I would like for each of you, as you reflect on this true meaning of Christmas, to join with me and send Christmas to Birmingham for the Johnson family. If everyone on this site would send a Christmas card . Wouldn’t it be awesome for EB to wake up to a room filled with Christmas cards from people, some she may never meet, but all sending their love and prayers and wishing her, as well as her family, a “Merry Christmas". She may not be able to decorate a tree but let us help her decorate her room with hundreds-no thousands- of Christmas cards.
Giving from the heart…that is what Christmas is about!! Please continue to remember EB and her family in your prayers.
Please mail your cards to:

I'm mailing my card out today. Challenge to join me?
I'm enjoying my Chocolate Mint Memories Boca Java this morning. Sure is good. Now, to get the tree decorated. Boy, we are late this year in decorating. We've had it up and lights on it, just haven't had the time or the emotions to decoarte it.
Have a blessed day and cheer someone as you are out and about today!

Blessings,
Linda
Her parents are very concerned, as are we, the grandparents. So if you read this this morning please lift her up in your prayers.
Thank you
love in Christ

Wanted to ask ya this morning....."How's your attitude?" Does it stink? Does it need adjusting? Do you "rub" people the wrong way" Well, ya know what? We are the only ones that can fix that. We all need a little attitude adjustments from time to time. Lord knows I'm talking to myself. I have no reason to ask this question......just a challenge. If ya need an adjustment over this Christmas season due to family issues, rushing shoppers bumping into you, or just in general, adjust yourself and go on. You'll feel so much better after wards!
I'm enjoying some smooth and awesome Trader Joe's Organic Coffee from our own Dayner D! The stuff is just so good and ya know you gotta love Dana!!
Y'all have a great day and if you are shopping, check your attitude at the front door. The people working the stores deal with enough "mean folk" as it is.

Have a blessed one,
Linda
Good morning everyone!!! Today is going to be a better day! I just know it. I appreciate all of you keeping Lucy and her family in our prayers. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!
I am Up, enjoying my Folgers. Sure is good in the cup!! Trying to be quiet. Momma leaves today. I hate to see her leave, but I'll see her again for Christmas. Only a few short more days and we haven't had time to buy the first gift. May not get to yet. With Lucy's mom being in the Hospital for 4 months, we've been running like chickens....so to speak. Now, we can't even get in the mood. Our tree has been up since before Donna died, but we haven't put anything on it. Last night, Momma and Allison put some candy canes on it. Guess we should get the decorations out of the attic. We just haven't been in the mood. She died a week ago today and the funeral was Monday.
Some of Lucy's family left yesterday. Things starting to quiet down. I wonder if it will hit Lucy's Dad today? This week? He really needs our prayers. Could that be our challenge today? Please?
Have a great day!! Know that this family appreciates all of you more than you will ever know. You guys have been with me through the thick and the thin, the hard times and the best of times and you will never know what you mean to ME!! I REALLY DO LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU ALL!!

Blessings,
Mary
