Blessings!
My friend Vickie called me this morning asking if I would put online this request of  a  10 year old girl from her hometown in West Virginia, who is seeing her last Christmas this year because of cancer.
Her name is Danielle Barlette. When asked what she wanted for Christmas she said "A shower of Christmas cards from all over". So if you will and have the time will you help make her wish come true?

Her address is :
Danielle Barlette

Richwood, West Virginia 26261

Thank you
love in Christ ,
Teri

My prayers are on the way! Just remember your kids are coming to see you not the house and Christmas shopping can be done latter too. Right now you need to take care of the cellulitis especially if it is weeping. Right now you are what is important. Don't fall in to the coulda, shoulda, woulda, that's the devils game! Keep your eyes on the Lord and allow Him to handle all this for you, you KNOW He can!! God bless sweetie!!!

I was supposed to work this weekend, but spent last night in the ER,  and am now treating my umpteenth case of cellulitus in my leg, and this time it is weeping.

I need the money.  My house is a mess.  I am a wreck, and I am supposed to keep my leg elevated.  The clutter of junk is everywhere, and I have my kids coming to town in two weeks.  I need to finish Christmas shopping and lost a lot of money not working today and tomorrow.  I am so bummed.

Please pray for me.  I am a wreck.

Trish

Thank you and yes, she was the one whose husband almost died of blood clots.  He is now back to work.

I appreciate your prayers and support.

I remember Ruth, she's the lady whose husband was so ill isn't she? I'm a breast cancer survivor myself so will absolutely add her to my prayer list. I too hope she goes ahead and has the tumor removed even if she can't have any other treatment. Seems that alone should help improve the situation and the sooner the better! I had my last surgery for BC on the 15th of Dec. 4 years ago and am now doing just fine. I did have radiation but no chemo. So just getting rid of the tumor should help. Anyway know that I am praying for Ruth and I know what a strong support she has been for you. God Bless you both!

Hi, Trish.
I'm praying for your friend, Ruth. I hope she consents to having the tumor removed, even if she cannot have follow-up therapy. God has gifted our medical community with great wisdom, and the Lord often uses them to heal our bodies, so it's important to cooperate with them.
I would like to offer my health and healing devotional series to Ruth, a 64-devotion series that I can email to her, one devotion per day. Since God's Word is medicine, and since it speaks much about healing, it's good to meditate on it daily. If Ruth is interested, PM me with her email address and I'll begin right away.
Blessings,
Mary

I have a dear friend, one who has been guiding me, mentoring me, and loving me for over ten years now.  She has breast cancer.  For some reason, she did not have surgery when diagnosed two years ago, and cannot do chemo or radiation due to a health issue.  She has been using alternative medicines for two years, and has been fairly successful, till recently.   Her latest PET scan shows that the tumor is growing, and she must have surgery to remove it.  She is seeking wisdom for this, because she still cannot do the chemo or radiation.  Please pray for her.  She has been such a love in my life, and has always sought the Lord in everything.  Her name is Ruth.

Thanks,
Trish

The very same back at ya! We all have much to be thankful for. Our Pastor often starts his service saying "God is good" and we reply "all the time", then he says "all the time" and we reply "God is good". It's a very nice way to start the service, gets us in the right frame of mind to listen. Hope you have a really wonderful holiday season and are able to beat some of those demons with God's never ending help. God bless!

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving.

Psalm 104:1 says "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.  His love endures forever."

I claim that today, because I have been through the wringer in the past few years, and much of it is self-imposed struggles and trials with my alcoholism and eating disorder.  Yet, God has never failed me, and has shown me more and more of His loving kindness, grace and goodness.

Today I am so thankful for His love, and how He has manifested that to me through His people, including my church, my family, my friends in real life, and my cyber friends like you all here.

I am so thankful that this year, God gave me a precious new grandson, and that I had the blessing to be in the waiting room with my granddaughter when Baby Lincoln entered the world.

I am also thankful that I have received a new exercise buddy, in my dog Utley.  He has added a whole new dimension to my life that was missing greatly
.

God is good, all the time.  Be sure to tell Him that everyday, not just today.

Hugs and love,
Trish
