Well I'm most grateful today that I had my last physical therapy session after breaking my leg in Aug. and spending 6 weeks in bed!! I'm finally almost back to normal. Just in time for Christmas and shopping, nothing like a little retail therapy, eh? Glad to see things going better for you too Trish!

Hi, Linda.
I'm praying for Blake, for the Lord to intervene so that he won't have to have surgery. However, if the Lord chooses to heal him through surgery, I know GOD will do the surgery. Keep looking to Him.
Blessings,
Mary

Topic: Daily Gratitude
Good Morning,
I am making a commitment to express my gratitude here regularly. I have been AWOL a lot due to health and work, and have done more than my fair share of self-pity in recent weeks. It is time for gratitude, so that is what I plan to do. Please feel free to join me as the Lord leads.
Today I am grateful for God's provision of a pain medication that I can take for chronic pain. It is not an NSAID, nor is it narcotic.
I am grateful for my beautiful grandchildren, and that they plan to come home for Christmas.
I am grateful for my jobs, which bless me immensely.
I am grateful that I am able to get to work each day, and have only missed two days so far this year.
I am grateful that my ex husband and I get along and can speak civilly to each other.
I am grateful for my therapist and psychiatrist who have helped me immensely in recent weeks.
What are you grateful for today?
Hugs,
Trish

Dear Lord we come to you today with prayers and petitions for Blake. Lord we ask that you close this hole in his heart like only You can. We ask you to pour down your grace and mercy and heal Blake by Your stripes. You have promised us healing by your stripes. Lord we also ask for grace and mercy for Blake's parents and grandparents. Blake is a gift from You Lord and they only wish to honor you for giving them such a beautiful gift. We also ask for wisdom for the staff at the hospital and any who comes in contact with Blake. We ask that your arms be around him and the family during this time. We have asked these things in your name, in your blood and because Your word says come to me with your petitions and I will grant them according to My will. We ask this in your name. Amen
May God bless you and keep you and your family Linda

Please hold our grandson, Blake, in your prayers. He was born 9/9/9 with a hole in his heart. While he is doing beyond what they expect for a 2 month old, he is not gaining weight & the hole is not closing as the doctors had expected. Please pray not only for his parents, Christian & Brittany, but the doctors & specialists he will be seeing next week.
I thank you!
Blessings,
Linda
