That one is easy...I would give up my favorite food for two years hands down.  I live alone and enjoy watching my sports and certain shows regularly.  Besides, if I can be celibate for ages, food is a cinch.

Great question! I'm not sure, most of us have given up some of our favorite foods. We don'****ch much TV so it would be a toss up for me.
Happy Thursday & blessings,
Linda

Good morning Family and Friends! How are ya this morning? I am wonderful. I had kind of a rough nights sleep, but I feel GOOD!!  It's gonna be a great day!

I have my Boca Java Moca Java Coffee and the fireplace going. Keeping the chill broken. What a great day to walk in the presence of God. The coffee SURE IS GOOD!!!  What are you sippin on?

In stead of a challenge today, I have a question for ya! Would you rather be without TV for a year or give up your favorite food for 2 years?   Makes you think huh?  I am going to do this type of question for the next few weeks.  Just something different than my usual challenge.  Each day will be quite different!  LOL  I have some good ones lined up.

Y'all have a great day and enjoy yourselves!!

Good Wednesday morning everyone!  Time to rise and shine!  Gotta spray them pits and eat those grits.  Lame and southern, but way too funny!  Gotta love it!  It is going to be a wonderful day.  I can just feel it!!

Our challenge today is to have a MID WEEK YOU DAY!  Do something good for yourself.  All the time I challenge you to do something good that will benefit others and yourself, well today, make it all about you.  Yes, even on Wednesday we can do something for ourselves.  Lucy and I plan on doing something for US today.  She has to go back to the Dr. for follow up visit on her surgery so we are gonna go to either "The Grind" in Gadsden or "The Flip Side".  They BOTH have wonderful coffees and we are going to treat ourselves.  Might find something else to treat US to also!  Ya never know!  Find or do something today, JUST FOR YOU!

So, what cha sippin' on this morning?  Coffee?  Tea?  CL? Water?  It don't matter!  Jump in and enjoy a cup or a few ounces with us!  I'm enjoying my Maxwell House and it is good to the last drop.....whenever that will be!  LOL

Y'all have fun today...even at work.  Go in with an attitude that you will have a GOOD YOU DAY!!

For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"

Good morning OH Family and Friends! Slept late here in the Culpepper home! Sippin' on some Banana Fosters Float coffee by bocajava.com and it sure is good on this chilly 49* morning! Think I will sit on the porch a while, rock, and enjoy my c...coffee! Loving life and LOVING GOD! No better way to live!

Our challenge today is to live your best life while you can!  You only get one chance at life.  Why not go for the best?  Don't settle for the mundane, the lessor, the worst!  You deserve a great life.  No one can give you that but you and the good Lord!  GO GET CHO LIFE!  That's one reason we have weight loss surgery or consider it.   Isn't it?

I won't ask who's up, but I will ask what you're sippin' on?  Tea? Water? Coffee?  Join me today in a relaxing cup of whatever and enjoy your best life NOW!  (thanks Joel Osteen...gotta love him)

Have a blessed and wonderful Tuesday!

Thanks Trish for sharing that, it is awesome. I started a new Bible study also and it basically wants you to llok at you like God does. Would it not be so awesome if we could see ourselves like God sees us? What an awesome concept. I am so happy to hear that you are getting involved. I not only see the 'stuff" I do at church as being faithful but also look at it as worship to Him. Whenever I do anything for God or the least os His it is my worship to Him. It brings me closer to Him e very time. i know you will be blessed.

WOW if we could only fully comprehend and accept that there would be no more problems to deal with. It's so hard to wrap our minds around that kind of love. I'm gonna hang on to this for those difficult days! Thanks for sharing!

Glad to hear you are doing better, I'm still keeping you in prayer. I'm so glad you are turning to God when it gets rough cause He's always there. Keeping busy is also a good thing to keep you busy and I'm sure the youth at church will work wonders in boosting your mood. I always feel good anyway when I'm around young people, they are so full of life. Best of luck and keep us posted on how things go! Hugs back!

“You are an awesome Spirit being of magnificent worth as a person.   You are deeply loved of God; You are fully pleasing to God;   You are totally accepted by God; you are absolutely complete in Christ.   And when your person is expressed through your performance the reflection is dynamically unique;    there has never been another like you in the history of mankind, nor will there ever be, you are an original, one of a kind, really somebody, and so am I!"

Topic: God is good, even when I feel bad
Hello All,
I have been really struggling with my depression.  God has shown Himself and continues to be my strenght these days.  I hate how I feel and try to keep myself busy.

My doctor increased my anti-depressant dosage, and I hope to see him in the next week or so.  I am still in therapy, praise God.  I am involved in a Bible study of Esther at church.  It is a Beth Moore study, and I am enjoying both the study itself and the fellowship with other women.

I volunteered to help with the youth ministry at my church, and will hopefully start in a couple of weeks.  I would start this coming week, but I am involved in a family commitment that keeps me out of town on Sunday.

I know what some of the antecedents of my depression are, and I am trying to stay away from sugar, which I have been eating when I feel this way.  I did three days of sugar free, but slipped up over the weekend.

Through all of this, my pastor preached an awesome message last week, and then reminded me of part of it in an e-mail.  I will post it separately for everyone's edification.

Hugs,
Trish
