Topic: Thanks for praying
Thank you all for praying for my daughter, Colleen. She is heading home from the hospital and really needs some sleep. Please continue to lift her and my granddaughter before the throne. They have yet to find a routine that Isabel can stay in now that she is in a big girl bed.

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Topic: RE: prayer
You have come to the right place--we have prayer warriors here! :) While I'm sure things feel a bit up in the air, God sees the end from the beginning, so He already knows how this will turn out.
The psalmist David said, "I have been young and now am old, and I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread." To be "righteous" means to be in "right standing with God." If you know Jesus, have had your sins forgiven, seek to follow the Word and honor God with your life, then you have access to all the promises in God's Word.
One of God's names is Jehovah-Jireh, the God Who Provides, and He God-breathed the verse, "My God shall supply all your needs, according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." His Word tells us, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."
The Bible talks about how God takes care of the birds, all of their needs, yet we are much more precious than birds. Jesus died for us, after all. :) God knows that you and your son need a place to live, so you just ask Him to provide, believe His promises of provision, claiming them, and live in faith until you see the provision come. It's going to be awesome! :)
Please post an update, so we know how God provided for you. It's our pleasure to pray, but it's important that we are able to rejoice with you and thank the Lord for His answer. :)
Blessings,
Mary

You are in my prayers, Monica. Even better, you are written on the palm of His Hand, and He never forgets. :) You're going to be just fine.

Monica you and your family in my prayers. My brother was so set against this surgery from the get go. He and I are very close. He is a strong man of God, but very rigid in some areas and I am one of them. I know his intentions were good, he loves me. I tried to explain to him that I would not be doing this with out guidance from God. God confirmed for me that this surgery was right for me in numerous ways. I know you are not going into this alone. I know God is right beside you and He will keep you safe. Keep us updated. God Bless

Praying for you as I write. We know that the Lord will and does provide. We are declaring that in Jesus name for you. Praying for your strength also, not easy to go through what you are going through, but it is such a comfort to know God is right beside you and He will never fail you or forsake you. I know God will bless you and keep you. In christ

Topic: Monday is my date
Hello everyone...I have been absent from the boards for the last week or so with so much going on with my kids and work. Hard to believe that my date is almost here!!
I am nervous, excited, sad, happy, and everything in between. Please remember me on Monday in your prayers. My surgery is scheduled for 10:30 am.
I trust in the Lord that His hand will be over my surgery and that He will guide my doctors and nurses as they work. I ask for comfort for my children and my mom and sister as they are all worried about the procedure and my safety.
I will post as soon as I am able. God bless!
