I tend to have that stupid diet-mentality going on inside my head. Like my DS will stop working if I do something wrong. Even if it's just one meal, or one snack. That's my diet-mentality working on me. UGH!
Great to hear the DS keeps on working even at 18 years out! WooHOOOOO!
Oh Anne, that is just so wonderful!

I second (or third or .. ) those WooHOOs - great job, Anne! v62!
hmmm but what DO we do with all our now-unused CPAP/BiPAP machines? I actually "inherited" two of mine from a couple that had successful VBG surgery 5 years ago . So now I have 3 units that sit idle and collect dust near my bed .. Legally, b/c they are a prescribed medical device, it is my understanding they (quite tragically) cannot be re-sold to someone else or donated to charity (hmmm where would a homeless sleep apnea patient plug them in anyway - right?) .. Ugh!
any ideas out there, anyone?

Amen to that .. I think when my BC insurance bought my unit those many years ago they paid over $1K for it (and I may had to pay my - at that time - $500.00 dedutible on top of that) .. UGH!
I shudder to think how much the medical equipment companies are billing insurance for them these days!
