I am just joining.  I am getting the DS in August but an exact date is not set.  I am looking to learn lots from everyone!

Welcome!  I am still fairly new and just had the surgery.   Every now and again people will re-post a nice link about some basics that newbies should know or tend to ask alot.  If you haven't seen yet- you can save bookmarks of the threads using the bookmark feature at the top of the page next to your log-in name.  Another helpful feature is the search at the top of the page too- when looking for particular things about the DS I actually add "DS" in my search words.

Hope that will help if you didn't already know it!  ONce again- welcome!

Also, be sure and come to support group.  The DSers go out to Chilis after the official meeting.  It's a great way to gather information and meet some great people!
