Please bear with me-AW with my real-life switch sister

I'm sorry - I know I just posted some pics a few days ago, but this one is so special to me.  My sister had the DS 2.5 years ago, and suffered some pretty serious complications with a leak that would not heal.    She was on TPN for almost a year, and scared the crap out of all of us.   Her positive attitude never wavered, whereupon I would have been ******g and moaning to anyone who would listen, if that had happened to me.    She now loves her DS, and is problem free.   Yay!   She doesn't hang out on the OH board much, but I'm putting here out there anyway, because I think this is the first pic of the two of us together in many, many years.    We both avoided the camera so much that we'd never let anyone photograph us.     I LOVE this pic!  She is two years younger than me, and SEVEN inches taller than me (I have on really high heels, she has on flats).  Anyway, here we are, our DS sister debut:

Yup!   I think one thing that has helped a bit it that we were not fat as children.   I became overweight as a teen, she as an adult.    She's lucky though - she had a hernia repaired and got a tummy tuck out of it....I've had no plastics.
