New program coming soon

Just an FYI. The Mayo clinic in Rochester MN, is working on a program/clinic for Bariatric aftercare. I was there last week for some appointments related to DS surgery issues, and my Doctor told me they are working on a new program. He said they are seeing lots of patients with issues from Bariatric surgery, and no one (or very few) people to help. So a new program is being set up. He said it will involve the after care from bloodwork, vitamins, strength training, nutrition, and everything else that is needed. They realize that there isn't enough quality care and answers for us DS'ers.

Hope it gets here soon! He couldn't give me a timeline. 

Good info. I hope they will listen to DSrs that have made it work well and not depend on theory and textbooks.
