Sorry that doesn't help to have the stress.
My daughter was turned down for SSDI 2 or 3 times. Then she went to a place here that they have free legal help for low income people. She had a hearing at the social seciurity office and the judge was shocked she had been turned down. So she got all that back $$$$.
Do you have a free legal help there???

From what I understand from some of the reading I have done, NSAIDs have a possibility of damaging the pouch and has a more likely chance of causing ulcers and such very uncomfortable things. This is just from my reading on the topic, I personally am allergic to them so I couldn't take 'em even if I wanted to.
Hope this helps.

Topic: RE: wls and fibro
hi,there i understand completely.the dr. told me that havin fibro.that it might help some to have the wls.but the fibro will not go away.even with that i'm still goin ahead with the wls.fibro can hit anyone.my best friends mom that weight about 100 lbs.has fibro.so it dosen't matter how much weight u loss.but i'm still goin to be positive about the wls.i don't use the word skinny cause i'm never goin to look like cindy crawford lol.so i say health.u can be skinny but not healthy.and that is just as bad as bein fat and unhealthy.so just hang in there and keep thinkin positive.

I just read no NSAIDS after WLS? I take two for my Fibro and degenerative disc disease & 4 back surgeries. I can't take other stuff due to previous problems with addiction. My docs had me on like 10 different drugs and I had to get off all of them last year.
Can anyone comment on this NSAID issue?
Thanks!

Topic: RE: X-post: OUt of remission!
Sorry you are back suffering again! I don't know if WLS helps lupus but I know from other posts here that it rarely if ever does anything to help the fibro. I hope your flare is short lived and you are back on track soon!

Topic: X-post: OUt of remission!
It's been a while since I've been here...a LONG while!
I have fibro *and* SLE (Lupus)...the double whammy!
The lu*****mptoms had been better since I had my DS and lost weight, and the fibro flares seemed milder...
Until last week.
I had the first lupus flare that put me in bed since my surgery in 2009. I was also hospitalized with pneumonia in May.
I differentiate my flares by symptoms. I had a 24 hour fever with this one, perhaps due to immunosuppressants.
I'm also feeling a lot of shoulder achiness on a daily basis. I have Voltaren Gel for my knees and ankles, and I've started using it on my shoulders, too.
Just venting here. I was hoping the weight loss had put me in remission forever. I've lost 232 pounds to date, from a highest weight of 405. 397 on surgery day.
