Anybody using a Wii Fit + for weight loss exercise?

When I first stepped on a Wii Fit + Board....it said:  "Only one at a time allowed".
Now that I have had Lap Band Surgery, I am down 37 lbs and Wii says:  "Welcome".  TA-DA!
I have been told that the Wii is an excellent method to measure as well as lose all my extra flab.
Let me know what you think?

I bought my Wii Fit+ last Oct. and have been using it to prepare for surgery, trying to get my strength and stamina up. I love it. Since I am now two weeks out from RNY, I have been using the "advanced step", "free step" and "Marching band" (not sure what that one is called but it uses the fit board and the nunchuk with the controller). I repeat the "advanced step" a few times to get the minutes of activity up, trying for 30 minutes. Yesterday, I did a few stretches with the Yoga.
How do you like using it? Congrats on getting your weight down to a "welcome" message!!!! That's awesome!

My husband and I love our Wii Fit. We use it a lot. Unfortunately, I found I didn't work hard enough on it, and have added resistance training on my bowflex and aerobic walking. I do think it is a great place to start and to build up your strength and stamina and once you are down near your goal, you will likely be adding other (real-world) exercise anyway.

I use the Wii Fit and board, but had to get the height extensions for the board to make me work harder.  I love it.  I just bought the "Just Dance" disc and like it alot,  it is fun, so I don't realize how much I am moving.
