At what weight did everyone start C25K?
I started around 230 lb - I repeated week one.
Right now I'm around 212 - tonight I finished a 2.5 mile jog in the rain! The temp was perfect. It was great!
I'm 5' 8.5"
I would say don't compare yourself - if you have issues with joints or other things there's nothing wrong with doing something else to build up strength. While you won't "run" a 5k per say in the water, you can do water aerobics/water therapy and that will help significantly. I did it this summer and I think it significantly helped me build up the c25k program.
Good luck!

I started the program when I was 242. I was two weeks shy of completing the program when my 5k race came and I ran that when I was 217. I still run and just finished my first 10k and I weigh 183. It has gotten easier but I am sure that is a combo of less weight to travel with me and training. Listen to your body, it is wonderful and telling us what we need to or not to do.
I was 161. But you PT knows you and your physical limitations.
Also, I'm injured right now so I do all my long runs in the pool. Running through water is actually pretty hard work. It's not for sissies.

I started at 6'-3" and 345lbs. I am on Day 3 Week 4 and I am still right at 330lbs. I made it through the first two days of week 4 but it was not easy, not looking forward to week 5 at all.
My goal is to enter a "Jingle Bell 5K" by the first week of December, I don't know if I will be able to run the whole thing or not but I am going to give it a try.
