March - Barton Center for Diabetes 4 Miler
April - Greater Hartford 1/4 Marathon

These are all I've got so far.  I'm hoping to get my plastic surgery done in May after the semester is over, so the rest of my year will be figured out after that...but I am looking for some 10k's to add to my schedule this winter and I want to try to do at least one half this year..probably mid-late fall...

So are you doing both the Wildflower Long and the Olympic course in one weekend?

I'm thinking about doing that next year.

I am starting 2011 recovering from plastics on 12/21/10. Surgeon says I will likely not be cleared to do ANYTHING but wal****il 8 weeks out!!

So that take me to March...I may be a bit optimistic, but what the heck!!

March: St. Paddy's Dash 5k at Naval Base Kitsap/Bangor
April: Dolphin Dash 5K at same location as above
April: To Hill and Back 8K - Gig Harbor
Run Girl Run on Mother's day (Chamber Creek Golf Course)
Seattle Rock and Roll Half in June (hopefully..)
Tacoma Narrows Half Marathon (this was my first and only Half so far) First weekend in August

THEN I would like to find a full marathon to attempt before the end of October 2011.

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

I am just getting started running, but my son asked me to pace him in the Leadville Trail 100 mile run in August.  I plan on trying to run at least 15 miles with him.  To get ready I signed up for my first road race, the Fairfield half marathon in June.  I also plan on running at least one 5K per month starting in March.  Wish me luck!
