Where I was last week but lower than what I saw Friday.
Work and life interefering with walking this week.
Not sure if WLS related or not but for a while now the morning dump it seems is beyond the capacity my commode. Translation: I'm frequently stopping up the thing. Bad. Plunging the john is my shoulder work out. Sometimes it clears quickly and other times I have to let it sit. TMI I know but it is set up for what happened Friday. Mrs. was out the door before I was and evidently when the toilet did not flush and plunging did not work that morning I left it to sit. Well before leaving, and I do not recall doing but must have, I flushed it again, set the alarm and left. Was supposed to have furniture delivery and did not materialize and was at work till 3:20'ish. Mrs. had beat me home but did not notice bathroom and plopped down to chill on couch. I came home and was WTF! The commode had overflowed and soaked the bath mats. Okay manageable. Step into master bedroom and heard "squish" when I did. The carpet was soaked in maybe a sixth of the bedroom but master closet was soaked. Closet backs up to the bathroom. Way too much water for a simple overflow. Used towels and fans to get it up but not much headway in 24 hours. May could have gotten some up with shop vac but not thinking did not try it. Have a pickup full of soaked carpet and padding from what I cut out. Carpet was 7, 8, 9 years old but was showing wear patterns and more than once peed on by the dogs. Maybe cutting out soaked parts was subliminal message to myself that I wanted to get new carpet! Had it been clear water may have tried more to save carpet but with it being "brown" water, and was funky smelling, we'll be buying stack of HD or Lowe's gift cards for a few weeks to save up. Get fuel points at the grocery store in the process. Yes, replacing toilets too!
SEC vs ACC tomorrow night. Even though M-State and LSU are in the same division of the SEC and play every year will take them. We had tictets for game this year in Starkville but scrubbed going because of getting married three weeks later.
Have a Great Week, ye bearers of the prostate! ![]()
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
It's a marathon and there will be ups and downs along the way. I may never get to my lowest low (165) but I sure ain't going back to 331 either!
I have put in too much work in the last 11 years (April) to go back.
Appear to be back on track after a disastrous two months!!! Getting in my 10,000 steps at work. Going to gym 4 days a week for resistance training and more cardio. But even better it appears that I have my eating back under reasonable control, low-carb and no cravings.
Not going to do anything drastic but just eat properly everyday along with exercise-as a way of life and I know eventually the lbs will gradually come off. End of October to January always challenges me, and usually I feel guilty, become frustrated, give up and go back to my old bad habits. This year I just accepted it, did not sweat it, and got immediately back on program.
What really helped was having others on this forum who were so honest in reporting their weight-even the gains. It really helped me to understand that this IS a Way (weigh) Of Life! It is a battle, but a battle that I was not in alone. So thanks to you all, you had my back.
Don't know what'll happen tomorrow or even in the next couple of minutes-but right now "I'm feeling good!" Thank you!

Whew!! Doing better and going back in right direction! 260 would of been devastating! Had to expunge self of sweets, so went low-carb and started doing resistance training at gym with wife. Keeping some sugar-free treats around the job because just today someone brought in mousse pie, pastries, chocolate balls and chocolate chips with Hershey kisses in the middle. Now back on path to get under 247 lbs and go toward goal of 220 lbs. I like I.F. because I eat less and I like low-carb because it gets my sweet monster under control but I have never done both at the same time. I think it's time the two shall meet! Hey, Patriots lost and Minnesota won, so I'm ok with that. Wish the Bills would of won, Allen is a really good QB but very young (23), made some mistakes but otherwise played a great game-He'll learn! Just too bad he is in my division with the JETS!!!

My weight is back to a normal range that varies 2to 3lbs weekly. I had been up a lot pre Xmas but things gravitated back to normal on their own.
Exercise is good so hopefully work will be fruitful in 2020.
Since the Jets were never in it, the next best thing is the Pats are out. Looking forward to their long term demise.
Cheers

Scale's still stuck. It's been a crazy couple of weeks at work, glad to be back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Uh oh! Not good but the ride continues.
Congratulations to both of the Houston teams for winning yesterday in nail biters. The Houston Texans and the former Houston Oilers aka: the Tennessee Titans. Looks like Tom Brady may, I said may, be hanging up his cleats. Rumors still floating around about Jason Garrett and the Cowboys parting ways. Contract expires January 14th and if it's not renewed it is the same as firing him without coming out and saying "You're fired!" He'll get a "gimme a job" job in front office. Speaking of coaches scratching their unemployed butts - Joe Moorehead is GONE from Mississippi State after two years. Be interesting to see who comes in next.
Go forth and have a GREAT WEEK!!![]()
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
I had some regain. The Doc was OK with it, saying I have surpassed their goal, but I know it is from old habits creeping back. But I know I have this tool, my sleeve, and I'm making strides in the right direction.
May the New Year be good for all of us!

Last two weeks have been "Sweets Overload!" All of us on the job have said it is enough and threw out all the extra cookies, cakes and candy!! I really envy those who have no problem whatsoever with the food before them but I am a food addict and like an alcoholic "If it is there I will come!"
Starting today I am back on high-protein, low carb, Intermittent Fasting and exercise. Gonna be a tough 3 days to start (3 days of no carbs gets the cravings out of me-also the Keto flu!) but I'll have to pull through it and get back on track! No use getting bummed out or bemoaning the fact I've gained 10 pounds since my low under 247 in October. Hmmm, what can I learn from this? Just goes to show that it is a WOL and we all have to stay accountable and keep working the program.
I've REALIZE NOW that I've become complacent at around 250 lbs, once I noticed I was having trouble getting and staying below it, I just accepted it. But In looking at 600 lb life "Where are they now?", Dr Now made it clear that it really all comes down to HOW MUCH we eat, so regardless of exercise, I.F., low carb, high protein, I need to cut down on the quantity and eat less. So I've made a new goal to get to 220 lbs, recording my food each day, eating less food with more nutritional dense properties, and exercising at gym in tandem with my walking program.
