Had a Duodenal Switch last Tuesday (12/18) so I am still at home recovering. Will be off work till January 16 (I do a fair bit of heavy lifting). Not doing much for Christmas, we already exchanged gifts yesterday(youngest daughter will be at her boyfriend's house on Christmas day). For obvious reasons I'm not making my traditional Christmas Lasagna this year.

12/17 - (3 weeks post-op): 248.1
12/24- (4 weeks post-op): 243.6
Down 26.4 lbs. since surgery (11/26) and 76.4 lbs. overall.
Working today, then off tomorrow for Christmas, then back to work the remainder of the week. I use the term "work" loosely as the offices are a ghost town and there isn't much going on that is important. I used all my remaining vacation time for surgery so I'm the man left to "hold down the fort" at work this week.

Merry Christmas, everybody. Happy to have all of my children home, but it would be great if they could all stay awake at the same time. My sons move to a nocturnal schedule when they are off of school and my daughter is resting from the semester.

On the first day of furlough
The government gave to me.....
Damn, up 5 lbs and laid off.
I jumped 5 lbs in 4 days, so I am not sure what is going on.
I know my eating has not been the best the last week, but it should't
have brought this increase. I think I need to do some tracking.

More in line with where I've been tracking lately. Got back on schedule for walking last week just to have it thrown off this week.
Have to work tomorrow but off Tuesday. Family gig tomorrow evening at Mom's with dinner Tuesday. Did drive through light park last night. Trying to get in the mood but I'm Christmas. Thought I was going to have to work a disturbance at a local Wal-Mart yesterday when I was trying to finish up shopping. Bad drivers everywhere!!
