Topic: RE: What kind of pain management did you recieve after surgery in Mexico?
Hi,
Many times, you have to ask for the pump for after surgery. However, maybe I have a low tolerance for pain, but I didn't get a lot of benefit from the pump. I was only in the hospital overnight. After that, it was just putting up with a little discomfort from the laproscopic wounds.

As I research possible doctors, I see that some say the need for only mild painkillers and some say they will offer other methods like the pump for morphine. Which did you recieve and were you told the same or different before surgery when you scheduled your surgery?

Hello,
You are doing geat! Take a deep breath and relax. Find something fun to do to occupy your mind. Take time away from the scale. Find a support group and just talk to others and you can learn what others are going through and maybe you can help them. You are doing great! Hang in there.

What is the difference between the mini and the RNY? Also, you will need that Behavioral Modification Journal. That is what I'm having trouble with. Do you know how to put one together? Maybe we could help one another? I'm new on this sight. Send me a friend request and I will gladly accept!

Gastric bypass surgery takes approximately four hours. Usually under general anesthesia and need an overnight-five days stay in hospital. The patient feels full faster because the structure of the stomach has been re-size or switch.

That's good, I have been obese since I was a child. Both parents are obese and my dad is diabetic. Got so afraid to be dangerously obese, but I'm aware I'm prone to it.

All I know is you should have a compliance letter, Psychological evaluations and clearance. Recorded histories of obesity ranging from two to several years, accompanied by weight loss attempt documentation is also needed.

Topic: How to put together a behavioral modification journal
Hi Everyone -
I am new here and not really sure what I'm doing yet. I posted a blog but now found this forum and think this may be better suited.
Here is my question. I have one last task to complete before my insurance Blue Cross / Blue Shield will okay my surgery and that is putting together a Behavioral Modification Journal. I want to mirror it with the time I spent on the Jenny Craig program but I'm not really sure how to do this. Does anyone have a sample of how this should look?
Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated!
Tons of smiles your way,
Jennifer
