No, never light headed. I eat all day long, so I don't get full, but I'm never super hungry. I try to keep it even so my blood suger stays stable. I share an office with a gal that has hypoglycemia and eats a little all day long, so she's my role model. Oh yeah, and she's skinny too (and not naturally, she works at it). Might want to go to your physician and tell them about your issues.
Thanks for the kind words. And good luck on yours too

Sorry i have been off the computer for a while... I have lost a total of 40lbs but that is from July of last year... I have gone from a size 24 to an 18! I am excited! I also started calorie counting at first but found FOR ME that wasnt enough, as soon as I added the treadmill, even a mile at a time, i really started to see results! I was less hungry! I had more energy, it was adicting.
Zumba is great! I now go 2x a week at the gym, I didnt like it at first, I was verry cautous of moving in public after all its hard when you move your body and 3 counts later your fat rolls catch up with you... sorry its a little cynical but, it is what it is.
how are you doing so far? I hope you were able to stick with it!
As for October I will be 28 on the second! I plan on a night out of town where I can be someone other then mom for 24 hours! (single mom here)

Hi KitCat,
I'm new also and have put off WLS due to the struggles with the insurance and thinking I'll try one last time to do it on my own. I have over 100 pounds to lose and have gained it slowly through the years. I decided to try nutris***em and started it a week ago.
Focus on your positive (WOW,, 13 lbs!!). Is there a counselor that goes with the program that can help you with some of your questions. Hopefully you can keep trying this program or another that suits you. Keep drinking the water! you're doing an excellent job

I just want to wish you good luck. I also have trouble getting all the water in, but it will come, I'm sure. I'm getting used to the new program, so my goal this last week was to see how it went with the food and all. I lost 4 pounds this first week. I did not cheat one bit and felt satisfied because i spread the food out all day, no big huge meals or anything.
On the very positive side, no heartburn for the last week and my skin is getting clearer :)

Topic: How is everyone?
It has been quite some time since I have come around these parts! how is everyone, I see alot of new faces here! seems like things are still a little slow going?? well, I have lost somewhere around 100 pounds and I have recently gotten my determination back to lose the last 50 lb's that I set out to lose! I have decided that I would stay away from the scale for a while and not become a slave to it, been there done that! I was weighing in at a steady 219 lb's then started to gain through the holidays and after new years was about 223 I really have not weighed in about 2 months and think I will stay away for a while longer, but I am diligently working at walking and eating healthy natural foods, not always perfect of course but I am determined! i am going on a trip with my husband this June and I have a pair of capri pants that I want to wear while on our trip, they fit now, but they are incredabely tight, so my goal is for them to be loose enough to wear comfortably, they are a small 16, i have other pants in size 16 that I wear everyday just fine, these however must be more like a 14 because they are so tight! when i started this journey I was wearing a size 26/28 in jeans and a 3X shirt, now I am in a 16 jeans and a L shirt, my goal is to get to a 8/10 jeans and a M shirt, so still some ways to go! I hope everyone is doing great! what are your goals, plans, hopes, for the next months coming up??

Hey Holly,
How is it going? I decided to come and see how things were going around here, been a Loooooong time since I've visited this board, good to see some familiar faces, I dont go on Facebook too much either these days! my new thing is walking! I LOVE it! I could not afford the gym any longer so try to walk several 3 to 5 times per week any where from 3 to 6 miles each time! I have decided to stay off the scale for the time being instead I am measureing my success by a pair of capri pants that I want to fit in comfortably by June, My husband and I are going on a trip June 4-9 and I am using that date as my goal, The capri's fit now but are incredibly tight!! so I am working on it, I have them hanging up in my room so I can see them everyday as a reminder of what I am working for! so thats an update on me! hope you are doing awesome!

Hi Everyone
I am new to the weight loss form. I decided to not have surgery. I am using the Optifast. so far so good. I just started the program on Thurs. My weigh in day is Tues. I have about 60# to lose. I have not said anything to my sisters(Ihave 3) becase I don't want to hear or see the look in their eyes if I fail, Ihavn't said any thing to my co-workers either. It seems like some one is always on a diet. I am losing weight because I am 50 and my knee hurts. Becase I do not want to be excluded from any activities becase I can't walk, or climb stairs or anything else.I will be here to offer any help I can and to ask for help as well. My biggest challenge is getting all of my water in each day. Any suggestions?

Hi Beth,
I've decided to put off WLS, the appeal process is exhausting and I wanted to try again to see if I could do it. I tried Nutr*****em about 20 years ago and I keep seeing the commercials, so I decided to try it again. Well, I'm one week into it and have lost a couple pounds so far. It's nice because I'm so busy and kinda lazy and it's really nice to just have it laid out for me. I've taken like 13 years to gain 60 pounds, and haven't gained anything in the last 3, so hopefully this will get me realizing what my portion sizes should be, as I can tell mine have been way out of wack. Also, it's nice to have a list that says "THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN EAT TODAY"
One of my friends says I may lose it, but may find it again and it will bring friends, but I really haven't had a history of yo-yoing, just slowly gaining and keeping my eating the same. I'm trying to decrease my portion sizes, increase my planning and eating vegetables.
Also looking at how my skinny friends eat, they have smaller portions, more vegies, and pass on those office donuts. I did resist the fresh office donuts today and was very proud of myself. It's a long difficult road, but it sure is nice to have this support structure to help out.
