Yes, it does but Elizabeth Bathory lived in Hungary in the early 1600's.  Madame Delphine Lalaurie lived in the late 1700's to early 1830's.  Bathory was prolific in that she is rumored to have killed over 300 girls.  She was only caught because she started to kill the "upper crust" girls and it got noticed.  Madame lalaurie tortured and killed slaves.  I totally get what you mean, though.

Aaaah it seemed very similar. Like where Elizabeth bathed in blood to stay young. Lalaurie used blood like that that, too in AHS.

Here's a history book chapter about Madame LaLaurie..

Madame La Laurie

This is blood curdling - and that her husband and her/ooops!,meant "she"  did such atrocious torture to slaves in Pre-Civil War New Orleans.

I'm looking forward to building on the clothes I got last summer. For once, they will fit me!

I'm also excited about taking some motorcycle trips and attending the OH Conderence in August. I went last year so am looking forward to reconnecting with friends and meeting new ones.

They are my neighbors so I can't really take credit for "hanging out" with them... it's more friendly neighborhood talk.  Believe it or not- people still talk about 9/11 on a regular basis.  You would think we wouldn't but we do.

Another interesting one is Andrei Chikatilo.  Serial killer, cannibal, pedophile, torturer.  He managed to kill over 50 people, mostly children, because the Russians did not want any publicity about the murders.

I have a few great serial killer stories if anyone is interested.  My neighbor, Roberta, had a friend who worked at the post office with David Berkowicz.  She said during the summer of 1977 a group of postal workers were sitting in a group talking about the "Son of Sam" and Berkowicz happened to be in the group.  A few of the women expressed fear and Berkowicz said "oh, I think you all will be just fine."

Another neighbor, Harvey, had a cousin who was killed by David Berkowicz.  Her name was Sandy Moskowitz.  Harvey was also friends with Irene Silverman.  Silverman was murdered by infamous grifters Sante and Kenny Kimes.

I figure with the amount of people I know that have had run-ins with bad people, statistically, I am safe.  LOL.

Yes, it was Wayne Williams and he was convicted of the Atlanta Child Murders.  I just did a short paper on him.
