We're expecting a hard freeze tonight. Glad I haven't gotten around to setting up any of those containers yet!

Without seeing any other responses to this: because it's always so damn hot and humid in Houston that being outside is horribly uncomfortable and borderline dangerous much of the time.

I don't really follow the serial killer stories, but I just wanna say that when John Lithgow played the bad guy in "Dexter" that was probably one of the freakiest things EVER.

Amy-

I don't know if the bathing in blood thing is true on LaLaurie's part in real life but she sure as hell did it on AHS.  I frigging LOVE that show!!!!!!  BTW- hope I didn't come off as a "know at all"- I have a BA in Forensic Psych and did papers on a lot of these peeps and I can be a little dry about it.

I remember the whole yellow houses thing!  WTF was up with yellow houses??!!!  I remember my parents visiting Monrovia to see my aunt one day and I was scared as **** to be in that area.  WTF where my parents thinking?!?!  I don't remember if he targeted Monrovia specifically but I was about 25 miles north of my house then.  I was scared ****less!

Yes, it does but Elizabeth Bathory lived in Hungary in the early 1600's.  Madame Delphine Lalaurie lived in the late 1700's to early 1830's.  Bathory was prolific in that she is rumored to have killed over 300 girls.  She was only caught because she started to kill the "upper crust" girls and it got noticed.  Madame lalaurie tortured and killed slaves.  I totally get what you mean, though.

Aaaah it seemed very similar. Like where Elizabeth bathed in blood to stay young. Lalaurie used blood like that that, too in AHS.
