A Mini Wow for me

So last night I took my two youngest children and the two dogs that we are baby sitting pushing a stroller, and went for a walk.  Not just a little walk around the block.  But a crazy down a big ass hill and up a bigger ass hill, walk was just over 3 km.  I have lived here for almost 3 years and I make fun of these hills about not liking to drive up them let alone walk them they are so big.

I actually walked and didn't die.  I could breath.  I never in a million years would have attempted this before surgery.

If anyone knows Hwy 50 and King St. in Bolton,  you know of the hills that I am talking about.

I walked to the Bolton arena, and my other kids could not believe we walked there.  They were/are so proud of me.

Heck I am so proud of me.  Ready to do it again.

Thank you for giving my life back!@  12 weeks post op today.  Down over 70lbs.  Whoo Hoo

That IS a great feel I'm sure.  I know that "big ass" hill(s) you're refering to and that is quite the walk!  Congrats!! Keep up the good work!  I can't wait to get on that bench next week and get back out walking again (and riding the rail trail).

That is fan-flippin-tastic!
That's what I am hoping for! Good for you, and it must have been heart warming to have your kiddies be a part of that!
