Found a new "once and a while" NSA treat
all this is awesome .. but is it not setting ppl up for wls failure ? i myself know im addicted to junk food and try very hard to stay away from it.
I know its a treat once in a while, but treats are just so yummy tasting it wouldn't just stop me from being just a treat, i would eat more and more until im out of control again. i seem to be having a hard time just to eat reg foods really dont need to introduce the sweet.

I think that it depends on the person. I have no problems eating the regular foods, and meet all of my protein and water goals almost every single day without fail. My bloodwork is perfect, and I am continuously loosing (albiet slower now, but that is to be expected). I feel that if i am going to put myself in a position where I am going to be tempted by one of my all time favourite junk foods (movie popcorn), then finding a NSA alternative is great for me. I packed 3 little twizzlers and nursed these over the entire movie. It kept me away from my hubby's popcorn, and for that I was grateful.
popcorn is good tho from what i was told just not a whole lot and watching what you add to it but they have the molly mcbutter, seasalt is also better then table salt, hope others can chime in again and correct me. ( not that i am eating that just yet )

i seem to battle food every day some days i can eat other days its just soup, so i know for me i have to stay away from candy, my treats are popsicles and freezie pops that i make, i seldom have anything with sugars or i try to keep its less then 7/8 g lol im always ready lables now what used to take me half hour to shop for food now takes me almost 2 hours some times i seem to get confused but i am still learning after all im only 3 months out.

Popcorn is great for fibre. Other than that, I'm not so sure.

I had cut up apples and bought some Carmel dip i know that was loaded with sugar but omg it was like eating a candy apple mmmm but that's a very very rare treat i know i will have to fight myself from, now unless i can find some sf Carmel ?? humm that would be awesome

i actually saw some sf caramel sauce and sf strawberry sauce the other day.
i usually shop at the walmart supercentre and it was in the aisle along with the jello and pudding boxes.

By popcorn, you probably mean air-poped, no butter, and now salt. That's pretty much the only way it is "good" for you. Since I was out and making my own was not an option, my vote was for the NSA Twizlers. Just for interests sake, here is some information about movie popcorn (size small). Lesson: STAY AWAY!! :)
